THE SLOPE IS -2

if we have the coordinates of two points on a line, we can find the slope with this formula:

s = (y2 - y1)/(x2 -x1) = (y1 - y2)/(x1 - x2)
so the slope is

(8 - ( - 4))/( - 1 - 5) = (12)/( - 6) = - 2
the answer is -2

good luck
