Angel uses the point (4, 3) to represent the location of her house and uses the point (10, 8) to represent the location of a gas station. Each unit on the graph represents 1 mi. How far is the gas station from Angel’s house?

if you make a right triangle with the two points
(last point (4,8))
then the shorter side would be 5 and the other side would be 6
then the distance would be twice the shortest side (5)

so, 5 times 2 equals 10
