Major arc, because it's bigger than a semicircle

Answer:

B. Major arc.

Explanation:

We have been given diagram of circle Q. We are asked to determine whether YQR is a minor arc, a major arc, or a semicircle.

Upon looking at our given circle, we can see that major of arc RY is 150 degrees.

We also know that major of all arcs is a circle is equal to 360 degrees. So we can set an equation as:

\widehat{YQR}+\widehat{RY}=360^(\circ)

Upon substituting measure of arc RY, we will get:

\widehat{YQR}+150^(\circ)=360^(\circ)

\widehat{YQR}+150^(\circ)-150^(\circ)=360^(\circ)-150^(\circ)

\widehat{YQR}=210^(\circ)

Since measure of arc is YQR is greater than 180 degree, therefore, arc YQR is a major arc.
