The twofold helix, also know as the double Helix, is a depiction of the sub-atomic state of a twofold stranded DNA particle. In 1953, Francis Kink and James Watson initially portrayed the sub-atomic structure of DNA, which they called a "twofold helix," in the diary Nature.
