To find the area of the triangle you would use the area formula which is A= 1/2bh. Once you plug everything in it would be, A=1/2(17)(8). Once you do 17•8 then multiply your product by 1/2 you should get 68cm.

To find he area of a triangle, use the equation base x height / 2. If the base is 17cm and the height is 8cm, then 17 x 8 / 2 = 68cm
