There are 3/4 as many boys as girls in a class of firth-graders. if there are 35 students in the class, how many are girls?

Girls = 20
Boys = 15

You can get this by setting the number of girls equal to x and the number of boys equal to 3/4x. Then add the two together, set equal to 35 and solve for x.
