If we are talking about World War 2, then it’s probably a toss up between German troops surrendering at Stalingrad to the Soviets, as this was a major turning point in the war against the Germans, Italy declaring war on Germany or maybe Benito Mussolini’s fascist government being overthrown and his arrest. During 1943 the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising also began and was later crushed as well by the Nazi’s. If we aren’t talking about WW 2 then no idea. I think when it comes down to it it might be between the battle at Stalingrad and the Germans surrender there or the declaration of war on Germany by Italy. Sorry I couldn’t help much.
