That’d be bacteria!
Free living and aerobic bacteria process nitrogen in a process called Nitrogen Fixation.^^

The living organism that processes nitrogen in the atmosphere and makes it available to other living forms in a usable form is bacteria. These bacteria use nitrogen in order to live and that it is called nitrogen fixation.
