Ohm's 2nd Law:

Resistance = ro (coefficient) x Length/Area

R = ro * l / a

Shortening the Conductor: Length decrease, Area become greater than Length, Ro is a constant, so it doesn't change. Result: The Resistance will be lower.

Answer: A.
