For figure 1 we have:
V1 = (5) * (15) * (6) + (1/2) * (15 * 3) * (6)
V1 = 585
For figure 2 we have:
V2 = (5) * (15) * (6) + (1/3) * (15 * 6) * (3)
V2 = 540
The difference in volumes is given by:
V1-V2 = 585 - 540
V1-V2 = 45 cm ^ 3
