What best describes the expression y/7?

7 times some number

Some number minus 7

7 more than some number

Some number divided by 7






and why is this a thing its not like ima got to astore to buy a can of soda and be like "ok so its 6x=8x so thats the square roott of" no! and im not ever gonna be a teacher never in my life iwill be anything that involves math.

The value of "y" will change depending on the value of "x". The words "when x is equal to zero, y is equal to negative 5" means that if you set x=0 in the equation, the yvalue becomes -5. Watch> Subsitute x=0 into the equation: y = 7/5 (0) - 5. Multiply: y= 0 - 5.

Since a fraction is literally the numerator divided by the denominator, then the correct answer is some number divided by seven.
