The monster just wanted to be loved, but his looks didnĀ“t let people get close to him, they were all terrified of him and immidiately he was rejected and tried to be killed by the villagers, on the other hand the Dr. was miserable because he created an abomination and was affraid of his own creation, this led him to isolate and be miserable.
