(f o g)(x) = f(g(x)) so we plug in the equation for g(x) where the x-variable is in f(x).

5(x + 1)³
5[(x + 1)(x + 1)(x + 1)]
5[(x² + 2x + 1)(x + 1)]
5(x³ + 3x² + 3x + 1)

(f o g)(x) = 5x³ + 15x² + 15x + 5
