Step-by-step explanation:
The volume of a rectangular box can be measured as follows:
volume = length* width * height
From the givens we have:
length = 8.5 in
width = 5.25 in
height = 7 in
Substitute with the givens in the above equation to get the volume as follows:
volume = length * width * height
volume = 8.5 * 5.25 * 7
volume = 312.375 in²
