Multiply both sides by 6
(6)1/2x+(6)3=(6)2/3x+(6)1
Simplify
3x+18=4x+6
Move 4x to the left
3x-4x+18=6
-x+18=6
-18 -18
-x=-12
Change the signs
X=12
