A number n is 13 less than a second number, and the second number is 10 more than a third number. If the third number is 54, what is n?

51, in explainatory terms, you would want to add ten to fifty-four then subtract 13

s = second number

n = s - 13
s = 54 + 10

s = 64

Plug in 64 for s

n = (64) - 13
n = 51

C) 51 is your answer
