the correct question is
The volume of a rectangular prism is 672 in³, the height of the prism is 8 inches which measurement in inches could be the dimensions of the base?explain and justify your answer

we know that
volume of a rectangular prism=area of the base*height of the prism
area of the base=Volume/height
Volume=672 in³
height=8 in
area of the base=672/8----> 84 in²
This means that the length and width can be any pair of numbers that has a product of 84 in²

examples
8*8, 9*64/9, 2*32, 16*4, etc

Keep in mind that the dimensions not necessarily are whole numbers, there are actually infinitely answers to this problem
