252 divided by 2 percent = 12600 cases

Let 'x' be the total number of cases the legal firm completed.

number of pro bono cases = 2% of x

as per the question,

given number of pro bono cases = 252

this means,

2 % of x = 252

(2รท100) * x = 252

on solving we get

x = 12600

so, the total number of cases legal firm accepted = 126, 00
