I think when you put log(3)x you mean log with the base of 3. If so, then
log(3)x = 9 would be 3^9=x
log(2)8 = x would be 2^x=8
log(3)27 = x would be 3^x=27
log(4)x = 3 would be 4^3 = x
log(2)y=5 would be 2^5 = y
log(5)y = 2 would be 5^2 = y
