Explanation:

The mean of a set of data can be found by simply adding all the terms and dividing by the amount of terms there is.

(3.5 + 6.1 + 8.9 + 2.4 + 6.9 + 9.3 + 1.4 + 5.8 + 4.2 + 6.8 + 8.2)/11

= 63.5/11

= ~5.77

5.77 is your answer.
