The answer is South Vietnam. The South Vietnam is afraid it would have ended soon just not the way we planned. It probably would have been a disaster. It isn't something we always think about or ask ourselves. Certainly other countries in the region were impacted as well. Went to war with the newly formed government of Vietnam and Cambodia.
