pentagon 5.5
If each side of the pentagon has the same measure, which applies to the original pentagon? Check all that apply.
*The scale drawing represents a reduction.
*Each side of the original is 22 inches long.

we know that
scale factor=model /original
original=model/scale factor
model=5.5 in
scale factor=1/4
so
original=5.5/(1/4)----> 5.5*4----> 22 in
statements
case A)
The scale drawing represents a reduction-----> is correct
because the scale factor (1/4) is < 1
case B)
Each side of the original is 22 inches long.----> is correct
original=5.5/(1/4)----> 22 in
case C)
One side of the model can be 1.375 inches.----> is false
each side of the model is 5.5 in
case D)
The scale drawing is proportional to the original.----> is correct
the proportion is equal to the scale factor
case E)
The scale factor is multiplied by 5.5 to get the dimensions of the original.-----> is false
to get the dimensions of the original divided 5.5 by the scale factor
