Ignore the "A" ^

v² + 7v - 144 = 0

a = 1, b = 7, c = - 144


x=\frac{-7±\sqrt{7^(2) -4(1)(-144)} }{2(1)}


x=(-7±√(49 +576) )/(2)


x=(-7±√(625) )/(2)


x=(-7+25)/(2) and
x=(-7-25)/(2)


x=(18)/(2) and
x=(-32)/(2)

x = 9 and x = - 16
