a woman wants to build a rectangular Garden she plans to use a side of the shed for one of the sides of the garden. she has 96 yards of fencing material. What is the maximum area that will be enclosed

If the woman's shed is used as one side of the garden, she will only have to use her fencing for 3 sides of the shape. So, if you divide 96 by 3, each side should be 32 yards. Then, to find the area, multiply 32 (one side) by 32 (another side) to equal 1,024 yards².

Sounds like it will be big enough for whatever she wants!
