we know that
volume of a cone=(1/3)*pi*r²*h
If the height of a cone is cut in half
so
h=h/2
and
new volume of a cone=(1/3)*pi*r²*(h/2)----> (1/2)*[(1/3)*pi*r²*h)
the answer is
the volume of the cone is multiplied by 1/2
