Explanation:

f(p) = 7p³ - 5p² + 1/3p

f(p) = 7p³ - 5p² + p/3

f(3) = 7(3)³ - 5(3)² + (3)/3

f(3) = 7(27) - 5(9) + 1

f(3) = 189 - 45 + 1

f(3) = 144 + 1
