The children and their parents are preparing to set out for a festival in the neighboring village. One of the children in the crowd saw that the volcanoe from nearby was starting to smoke up. He tried to tell others but they thought he was imagining things. Later one of the older kids yells out that the volcanoe was going to destroy the village. That got everyone's attention.
