An individual having a history of migraine headaches would most likely be diagnosed with having a common disorder of the central nervous system. There is still some debate about why exactly migraines happen and the varying causes, although it is now widely accepted that they are in part due to the relationship between the excitatory and inhibitory circuits, which are of course part of the central nervous system.
