hmmm is that supposed to be -2=3x/5 +1 ? as it is it looks like an expression not an equation.
if you work it out like I have it written then you can solve for x
first subtract both sides by 1
-2-1=3x/5 combine the left side like terms
-3 = 3x/5 multiply both sides by 5
-15 = 3x divide both sides by 3
-15/3= x
-5=x
