To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:
1.You must apply the formula for calculate the midpoint of a segment. You have:

Point A is located at (1, 5), and D is located at (−3, 7).
x=(x1+x2)/2=(1-3)/2=-2/2=-1
y=(y1+y2)/2=(5+7)/2=12/2=6
Therefore, the answer is: (-1,6)
