Molarity is given as,

Molarity = Moles / Volume of Solution ------ (1)

Data Given;

Volume = 4 L

Solving eq.1 for Moles,

Moles = Molarity × Volume of Solution

Putting values,

Moles = 2 mol.L⁻¹ × 4 L

Moles = 8 moles
