The equation of the line perpendicular to Y = 5X + 4 is given by:
Y = -1 / 5X + B.
We observe that this line passes through the point (15, -2).
We have then:
-2 = -1 / 5 (15) + B.
Clearing B we have:
-2 = -3 + B.
-2 + 3 = B
B = 1
Answer:
the value of B is:
B = 1
