Light is one of the fastest growing pollutants for the natural environment which is created by humans. The impact of light on animals is negative which are active during day, crepuscular or nocturnal species also have influence in their general behavior. The DNA of the living organisms is encoded according to the Earth’s natural rhythm of day and night. Scientific evidences have shown negative as well as deadly effect on plants, insects, birds, mammals etc. The plant and animal physiology is negatively impacted by the artificial light and specially the nocturnal species by altering the predator-prey relationship, migratory pattern of birds and animals is affected and the humans also have serious health effects. Light pollution basically interferes with natural biological activities of plants and animals according to the biological clock.
