Hello!

"Had 13 less than the first" indicates subtraction, so eliminate answer choices A and B.

"Had 13 less than the first" also indicates that the second friend had 13 less than the point amount of the first friend, which would mean 13 less than 25.

Equation:
25 - 13 = p

But that isn't an answer choice, right? Because of that, we have to find an equivalent equation, one that involves subtracting 25 from p to get 13.

Your answer is "p - 25 = 13"
