a² + b² = c²

x² = 8² + 10²

x² = 64 + 100

x² = 164

x = √164

x = 2√41

Answer:

x=2√(41)

y=39^\circ

z=51^\circ

Explanation:

In the given right angle triangle.

Using pythagoreous theorem,

a^2+b^2=c^2

where, a=8, b=10 and c=x

8^2+10^2=x^2

64+100=x^2

x=√(164)

x=2√(41)

Using trigonometry formula:

\tan y=(8)/(10)

y=\tan^(-1)(0.8)

y=39^\circ

\tan z=(10)/(8)

z=\tan^(-1)(1.25)

z=51^\circ
