Hi there!

There are 12 total chips. The probability that she will pull a blue chip is 4/12, or 1/3. Without replacing the chip, there are now 11 chips total. The probability that she will pull a blue chip now, is 3/11. Then, we can multiply the two fractions together to find the probability that she will pull a blue chip and without replacement, pull another blue chip. The probability is 3/33, or 1/11.

Hope this helps!! :)
