I believe the answer is:
Helping children recognize their responsibility in a conflict situation
Teaching this to the children would train them to be socially aware on the emotion that might be experienced by other peers.
This would help them in being emphatic in every conflict that they're in and granted the the ability to see other people's perspectives.
