What doirrational, and rational numbers mean?

Irrational means of a number, quantity, or expression NOT expressible as a ratio of two integers, and having an infinite and nonrecurring expansion when expessed as a decimal. Rational numbers mean any number that CAN be expressed as the quotient or fraction of two integers, a numerator, a non-zero denominator. For example, any repeating or terminating decimal represents a rational number.

Rational numbers are numbers that can be turned into a fraction. Any decimal that repeats or ends is a rational number.

Irrational numbers are numbers that can't be turned into a fraction. Irrational numbers go on forever meaning that they never stop or repeat.
