Given that in the jar, navy beans and white beans in a ratio of 1:9. Let the amount of navy beans be
x.

Then, the amount of white beans in the jar is
9x.

Given that amount of navy beans is
x=90.

Total amount of beans in the jar is
x+9x=10x =10*90=900.
