You're really just finding the volume of the cargo-carry part.

V= L x W x H

V= 8.3m x 3m x 4.2m

V= 104.58 m3 or 105 m3 (rounded)

ANSWER: The maximum volume of sand Billy's truck can carry is about 105 m3.
