A rigid container of O2 has a pressure of 340 kPa at a temperature of 713 K. What is the pressure at 273 K? Show your work.

Use the
(P_1)/(T_1) = (P_2)/(V_2) \\ (340)/(713) = (P_2)/(273) \\ P_2 = (340 * 273)/(713) = 130.18 kPa

Hello!

To solve this you use the equation

P1 / T1 = P2/ T2

Put in the values you know

340 / 713 = P2 / 273

Multiply both sides by 273

130kPa = P2

The answer is 130kPa
