Identify any solutions to the system shown here. 2x+3y > 6 3x+2y < 6

they rearrange to

y > -(2/3)x + 2 and
y< -(3/2)x + 3

the equations of the lines have negative slopes and y intercepts of 2 and 3 and second equation is steeper than the first so we could try a point where y = 4 and and say a negative x value of -1 and see if they fit the inequalities


2(-1) + 3(4) = 10 > 6
and
3(-2) + 2(4) = 2 < 6

So one point would be (-1, 4)
