In a rectangle, all sides make 90 deg. angles with adjacent sides. If one side of this rect. is contained in the line y = (-5/2)x = 37/2, then both adj. sides have the slope +2/5. (Why?)

So now we know the slope (2/5) of a line (side) thru (-5, -6). The equation of the line containing this side is

y+6 = (2/5)(x+5), or y = (2/5)(x+5) - 6.
