An endothermic reaction is any chemical reaction that absorbs heat from its environment. Boiling is a course by which a liquid changes into a vapor when it is heated to its boiling point. The shift from a liquid phase to a gaseous phase happens when the vapor pressure of the liquid is of the same level to the atmospheric pressure exerted on the liquid.
