The correct answer is: mid-latitude cyclone, hurricane, thunderstorm, tornado.
The mid-latitude cyclone is the biggest in overall size, it appears in the winter period. The hurricane can produce stronger winds than the mid-latitude cyclone but is smaller in overall size, it appears in the late summer. The thunderstorm is a common occurrence and is much smaller then the previous two. The tornado can make the strongest winds and is very destructive, but is the smallest of them all.
