let
p---------------> is the perimeter of the base
s--------------> is the slant height
ba-----------> is the area of the base
la-----------> is the lateral area
we know that
[surface area of the pyramid]=area of the base+perimeter of the base*slant height/2
so
[surface area of the pyramid]=ba+p*s/2
la=p*s/2
[surface area of the pyramid]=ba+la
the answer is
surface area=ba+p*s/2
surface area=ba+la
