It would be 2.6 because you would subtract 16 by 9 and then square root it

Answer:

The length of other leg is 2.6 feet

Explanation:

Given a right triangle has a leg of 3 feet and a hypotenuse of 4 feet.

we have to find the length of the other leg.

As given a right angled triangle

∴ By Pythagoras theorem

(Hypotenuse)^2=(Base)^2+(Height)^2

4^2=3^2+(other \thinspace leg)^2

16=9+(other \thinspace leg)^2

(other \thinspace leg)^2=7

Other\thinspace leg=\sqrt7=2.6457..\sim 2.6

The length of other leg is 2.6 feet
