Hey, Cody! Here is the answer:

The American colonists did not want the stamp act, and thought it was unfair. They thought that it wasn't right to make them pay taxes without their consent. The stamp act produced a storm of protests within the colonist community.

I encourage you to do your research about this unit a little bit more so you understand this topic a little bit more. Have a GREAT day and goodluck on your assignment! - Sophia :) <3

Well after "Taxation without Representation" the colonists were furious. So they started to rebelled against Britain. So, the British Parliament issued the Stamp Act. Which taxes imported goods and things involved with paper. The colonists responded by boycotting the paper goods that were stamped to pay extra tax. This led on to other Acts such as the Tea Act which led to the Boston Tea Party. Then so on until the colonists couldn't take it anymore so they started to make ideas and views why they should gain their independence. This led to them starting Militia and start to go to war with Britain. Lexington and Concord
