The answer is -70
Steps:
1)35( a/35+20)= 18*35
2)35(a/35)+35(20)=18*35
3)35/35a+ 35(20)=18*35
4)35a/35+35(20)=18*35
5)35a/35*700=18*35
6)a+700=18*35
7)a+700=630
8)Subtract 70 both sides
9)Which gives you -70
