The formula used to find the slope of a line can be written as follows:


( y_(2) - y_(1) )/( x_(2) - x_(1) )

Using the table in the image above, we can assume the following:


Y_(2) = 9

Y_(1) = 5

X_(2) = 4

X_(1) = 0

With this knowledge, we can insert all known values into the slope formula above:


(9-5)/(4-0)

This expression is the correct answer.
